Nearly a year ago my fiance was rushed to this hospital, though it was not my first choice. Because he had serious facial trauma they rushed him to the nearest hospital. I actually thought my fiance would be disfigured for life. The surgeon on call was Dr Librach. Though the ER doctor believed the wounds should be closed immediately, Dr. Librach explained why we should wait to close his lacerations. Perhaps it was his calm demeanor, or confidence, but we never doubted Dr. Librach for a minute. I was really devistated, because my fiance is handsome. I did not know if he could learn to cope with being deformed. I had a girlfriend who was a nurse, and she told me Dr. Librach had a reputation for his ability with wound closures and minimizing scars. That was comforting but when I looked at my fiance, I couldnt imagine anyone having the talent to make him attractive again. Then I found out Dr. Librach is a dentist too, so he was able to realign my fiance's jaw. Much to our amazment, when Dr. Librach removed the bandages, I cried and hugged him! (I caught him very off guard and embarrassed the heck out of him. Lol) That was the first time in months that my fiance laughed out loud. Today, as I prepare for my wedding, I wonder if Dr. Librach realizes that the scars are not visible now- unless we point them out to someone. So this wasnt my favorite hospital, but because of dr librach, its moved up a notch or two in my book. Please tell Dr. Librach, we will be forever thankful that our pathes crossed when they did.
