Was transferred to this hospital from another hospital so I could receive physical therapy along with my critical care. There is absolutely no communication within the "team" of care providers. It takes at least an hour for nurses to respond to the call button. They are understaffed. Nurses are unable to give family members any information about their loved one's condition because they uninformed. We were promised that physical therapy would be intensive and would receive it every day. Patient has been in the facility for 4 days and hasn't received any physical therapy yet. Patient was supposed to receive dialysis Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Was admitted on Wednesday night and when Friday arrived we kept asking when he was going to receive the dialysis and no one responded until 4:30 pm and then it became an emergency. The staff was totally unaware that he was a dialysis patient even though they had care giver sign the permission to do dialysis on the evening he was admitted. The rooms are not kept clean and the semi-private rooms are so crowded that visitors have no room and also have to stand. We had no other option than this hospital for patient's particular needs because of Medicare insurance. If you have other options, please do your research and choose another hospital.
