The initial wait in ER Triage was horrible. The cleaning staff are running around gossiping on their cell phones and wearing stocking caps in the ghetto fashion style. So it is no surprise that the hospital looks filthy. They could definitely use some modern redecoration also and feng shui. The linoleom flooring looks like it is from 1975. Pain management was great, I will give then that, however neither the resident or the attending could diagnose my kidney problem. I had a LOT of blood in my urine, bilateral kidney pain, and stomach issues. Creatinine level (kidney function) was 1.2 which is normal by their standarda. They ordered a CT scan on the kidneys with dye (contrast) initially which is bad practice if you are experiencing kidney issues since the dye immediately raises creatinine levels. They said okay to no dye. They claim there are no stones on the images and that I may have a urinary tract infection or something similar. They refused to do anything further and sent me home with pain medication and Ciprofloxacin. After completing the antibiotic course without alchohol and minimal probiotic maintenence, my pain is still there day in and day out. Where are all the doctoe house's when you need them? So many doctors will tell you "it isn't this, or it isn't that, but they never find the problem. That is why people come to the hospital in the first place. Stop the problem where it starts.
