Went to the ER for an allergic reaction. My face and arms had a rash, my tongue was tingling, I had shortness of breath and my bennedryl wasn't working fast enough. Since I can and have gone into anaphylaxis shock I should have been seen right away. I THEY checked my vitals and sent me back out to the waiting room. They couldn't find any medical history even though I practically lived there last year for breast cancer. Funny I got the bills. So after I waited 2 hours I went up and again told them my issue. They literally rolled their eyes took me in and looked at my throat. They said your fine. I said what if I drop dead at there? They didn't seem concerned. Shortness of breathletes getting worse. So they sent someone out to the waiting room to tAkers my vitals again in frent of everyone. Hello Hippa. Finally I was called in after 3 hours. I told the doctor this has happened before I need steriods he was reluctant as he didn't think it was an allergic reaction. He wanted to give me benadryl cream for the itch. I had no itch my face was burning. I finally convinced him so they gave me 2 Decadron pills and 2 bennedryl pills. On the way out they asked for theye asked for the copay. When pigs fly. Do not go to this hospital if it is an emergency. You will die.
