If I could give this hospital AND it's regional clinics a NEGATIVE comment/score I would in a heartbeat! I had back/neck surgery here that was performed by a surgeon shown right in their quarterly magazine. This man caused so much damage to my shoulders in 'positioning' before the surgery that I had to have reconstructive surgery on both shoulders. Their 'damage control' manager strung me along for over two years. During that time this 'surgeon' closed his practice and can not be found. I was told FINALLY that he was not an employee of the hospital, but that he had "surgical rights". They THEN filed a claim that was obviously denied, since it could be just weeks before the statute of limitations ran out. SINCE that time we have been served for costs involved with the surgeries including the reconstructive surgeries. This hospital will send you to Skagit Bond Collection at the drop of a hat. I know! They gave no relief and as I was told, "Any surgery has risks. You just got unlucky." Yeah! I am just now paying off the last $600 collection. I believe we are now at a total of over $10,000 that Skagit Valley Hospital sends as fast as possible to Skagit Bond Collection. We've had TEN! The first was over $7,000. By the way? I am injured for life. This has changed my life and if you read this, go to Providence or Everett Clinic. Never ONCE was a collection initiated by them and I was NEVER injured and then ignored! STAY AWAY IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
