I went to hospital with a eye bleed, the nurse practioner told me it could be a mini stroke, I was already diagnosed with a possible TIA in may, she recommended a MRI, so I agreed. She came back into the room and said you have a chronic sinus infection, and a ischemic bleed. I ask her is this not a TIA she said no it was a onset of dementia I was devastated I went home and cried. I requested a copy of my cd only to find out it was a catscan not a MRI I did not have a sinus infection or a bleed, she discontinued my low dose asprin and prescribe a what she called a lower dose asprin. I found out that her prescription was not lower than my asprin it was stronger form of asprin and if I had a bleed it would have benn bad for me.
