When I went to this Hospital the first thing that they asked me was was I on Medicaid and I said yes and then the nurse told me that it would be a 12 hour wait and then she had the nerve to ask me if I'd had a bath because she said that Medicaid patients are dirty and that she didn't get paid enough to have to smell them. I was horrified I was so humiliated I didn't know what to do and then after they told me it would be a 12 hour wait they said even if I waited that long there was no guarantee that the doctor would even treat me because it was up to the doctor whether or not he wanted to treat a Medicaid person. Again I could not believe that a professional medical person was talking to me this way. I did wait for several hours and I watched people go in after telling them that they had good insurance well myself and other Medicaid people and people that did not have insurance sat and waited even though the nurse and the doctor saw sitting there and saw how sick some of us were they just left and went on about watching their laptops and flirting with each other. I finally walked out with several other people the whole experience was very traumatizing for me. Do not go to TriPoint Hospital. Lake Hospital Systems is the worst hospitals in the state and they have rightly earned that reputation. While I was leaving I heard this one nurse laughing and she said that the only good Medicaid person was a dead Medicaid person because she said that if we die her paycheck will get better. I just don't understand how they can get away with treating people like this and still stay in business. We need to get together all of us that have been abused by this hospital or mistreated misdiagnosed we need to get together and file some sort of a class action suit because that's the only way this hospital is ever going to clean up its Act and in the meantime more and more people are going to die because of lack of care or bad care.

The communication from employees is really bad! I checked in at Tri Point this evening at 6:21 PM, they immediately took my blood pressure and temp so they could bill my insurance, but then nothing. I waited for 2 hours with zero communication from anyone, so I figured I better go make sure my info did not get miss placed or something. I asked the receptionist what was going on and she said I was next to be taken in. After I watched several people go in ahead of me over the next few hours, I asked again and tried to explain that the wait is not really my issue, it is that there was no communication at all. Worse than that, after talking to several people that worked for the hospital, including the receptionist (who thought her cell phone/Facebook was more important than talking to me), the two assistant males that only seemed to hang around the counter doing nothing that I could tell. I talked to two nurses as they grabbed the files of patients that checked in long after me. (by hours, not minutes) I even asked the security guard what he thought and he explained that he gets paid by the hour to listen to complaints and that nothing mattered to him because he gets paid either way. So any way 5 hours later (stupid me) I left out of frustration and still sick. As I was leaving, all I asked was for someway of communicating this information in a none public way but was offered a phone number that is out of service. JOKES on Me! I am sure the staff is having a laugh at my expense. WORDS OF CAUTION do not to go to Lake Heath, they really don't care at all!
