This hospital should be shut down. The nurses and doctors at this facility believe they have the right to harass, abuse, and harm patients who are in pain. They are negligent, lazy, and often stand in the center of the cubicles gossiping loudly about patients who are lying in beds just a few feet away, listening. I am not talking about one or two bad apples here. It is an epidemic in this hospital. The staff and doctors do not care about their patients. In fact, there is no such thing as "health care" at this facility. It is as if having a psychopathic personality is a hiring requirement--they do not concern themselves with the pain or suffering of their patients. I was admitted once for severe dehydration, stuck six times while the tech tried to find a vein, then my husband had to search the ER for over an hour to find someone to actually give me the IV fluids. I've heard staff stand in the center of the ER gossiping loudly about patients on numerous occasions, discussing their conditions, names, personal information. I was personally verbally and emotionally abused on numerous occasions--I have nothing to hide and if a doctor wants more information concerning my medical conditions he or she can ask for records or to speak to my physician. I was sent to the ER for care or I never would have stepped foot in that place because it has such a bad reputation in Rio Rancho and I pray every night that someone shuts this hospital down so there will be an end to the patient abuse.
